I first saw your film 'the Village' with some reservations due to its slightly negative hype. It blew me away.
Not many films have impacted me as this one did, the wish to preserve innocence in the film was heartbreaking, as someone who lives in a country where there is a lot of violent crime and who has been directly affected by it, I really identified with your characters and message.
Few movies have stayed with me as yours have, they often cross my mind, the concepts, the characters.

As for me, since last here I have been working on topics like death and how to keep the presence of defuncts alive. This year I'm working with the life cycle and the influence of biotechnology. And I would be really pleased if you could become my Godfather for the thesis! It would be a moral support!
the role of a godfather doesnt involve ny effort from him. Just your blessing! Since we are designer, we are designing a "diploma" in which our godfather says that he is really the godfather of that particular thesis and he signs it at the end.

I first want to say that I am deeply moved by Shyamalan's outstanding work. I highly respect every thing he has done and continues to do. Since I witnessed The Sixth Sense(which was the first Shyamalan film I seen) I realized who I idolized and wanted to be when I grow up. I recently turned 18 and I graduated from high school. I am soon to be taking a course of creative writing at a community college nearby. But I would like to advance into a film school to train to become a film writer and director. I currently do not know what school would be the best for me. I have found a few schools, but the success rate for students who graduate seems a bit shallow. I just finished watching this movie and to tell you the truth the whole movie itself is a GIGANTIC FLAW &MISTAKE OF A MOVIE. I guess certain people think that dressing up like it's halloween on an every day basis would cause the rest of us who actually have a pulse and an intellectual stimulation in our brains to get scared! Uhh... NOOOOO! If you want to make a scary movie how bout you spend more time on developing an actual worthy plot that would scare the pants of an 80 yr old like Stephen King rather than to recreate the pilgrims landing on Plymoth Rock for Thanksgiving before the indian masacre. By the way, Signs and The Sixth Sense were just about the same crap as this with Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson being taken on that poor ride of an inexcusable lack of writing talent.

The only film of yours I haven't seen is Unbreakable. I don't really want to go see Wide Awake and Praying with Anger because I like your scary films better. Much better. It seems to me that Shyamalan is getting progressively (and exponentially) worse ever since The Sixth Sense. That movie was simply brilliant, Unbreakable was a little less brilliant, Signs was a lot worse, and The Village is five times worse than Signs.
I still didn't think The Village was a total disaster but it just didn't work for me.
I hope he goes back to making movies like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Maybe he needs to get Bruce Willis back.

The biggest real give-away that the "secret" documentary was fake (besides the obvious acting by the part of the teenagers, etc.) was in the "childhood video" of M. Night. In it, you see a woman that's supposed to be his mother calling him in for dinner. But the woman says his name "Manoj" in an AMERICAN accent. Any Indian person would know that an Indian mother would have pronounced his name "MUH-noj", putting the emphasis on the first syllable. But instead she pronounced it "muh-NOJ", with the emphasis and western "twang" on the second syllable, like the way most people pronounce it.

M. Night is the greatest director/writer whom ever had the pleasure to make a film. Like M. Night, I too direct and write films. Only, mine never make it to real TV. i think all this secret stuff is pretty stupid.maybe he does have a secretive side to him,but doesnt everyone,Y should we kno that angle to him people are trying to see?

MIDDLE AGE :
This age has to be written in Golden Words in INDIAN HISTORY. During this period Cheras,Cholas and Pandiyas and west Indian Culture had been developed. There is a Miraculous Changes had been occurred in I and II century of B.C. In that, trade is one of the countries. This trade paved the way for miraculous changes in Indian Culture. For example INDO-BURMA CIVILIZATION, INDO - ROMAN CIVILIZATION ect., Among these civilizations, this story based on INDO – ROMON CIVILIZATION.
HISTORICAL PROOF :
Middle Age, that is in I and II century of B.C Roman Stepped into India for the purpose In two Places. The one is in “ CAUVERIPOOMPATTINAM “. And another one is in “ ARRIKKAMEDU “ of PONDICHERRY. While cauveripoompattinam had been swallowed by the the waves of INDIAN OCEAN . Only proof which stands now days the ARRIKKAMEDU.
This ARRIKKAMEDU was researched by many Archeologist ( who studies pre – historic Or ancient things ). They found different types of pots which were made by clay and the other used Romanians by seeing this Architectural events made of clay, we can analyze their interest In art and architecture. Vessels which are discovered in Pondicherry is in different sizes. For example they found one in “ OULAVAYKAAL “ ( A small village in Pondicherry near Villiyanur )
MUTHUMAKKAL THAZHI :
The EGYPT people had the custom of burying the dead people and sick people in “ PYRAMID “In the same way in our country they had in practice, such that, they kept the people with enough food for surviving and little lamp in a big clay pots which is similar to the granary for paddy. And so they named it as a “ MUTHUMAKKAL THAZHI “. And they pray after some year.
THEME OF THE STORY :
It’s a divine love story. This story has got thick relationship with “ MUTHUMAKKAL THAZHI “. For this, we have to search for the historical example. Like nowadays, In those days also there is opposition for love and love marriages. In spite of opposition they kept a love pain in “ THAZHI “. This story is being held in I and II century of B.C in ARRIKKAMEDU. This divine love story is in between a young girl who is the daughter of ROMANS, who came for trade in Pondicherry ( India ) and the well-cultured Indian young man. I think I am better then shyamalan. I don't disagree with K. Raj's remarks. Shyamalan just got lucky with Sixth sense. Rest of his movies suckes. He doesn't know how screen writing at all. I was watching Signs the other day and I read somewhere that doors made a long time ago were made to look like a cross with an open Bible. I noticed nearly all the doors on the set (seeing it was fairly aged house) were crosses over a Bible. Was that purposeful?
Also, in the 6th Sense you had a theme of red. In Signs, there seemed to be a lot of blue. The mother's dress in the attic was blue, all their clothes were blue, their car was blue, the kitchen where the alien was trapped in the pantry was blue etc. Also, the door of the closet has a blue jacket on the inside, where grahm watches the tv. I know this was a very family-based theme, and blue is known as a soothing color, so let me know if my proposals are correct.

Philadelphia? Family Problems? Unraveling Endings? What have you done M. Night? It must've been an extremely big risk for you to spark the fire and not know the outcome of it. It seems as if you have the forest fire under control, except you are continuously taking everything in your path, which is a good and bad thing. The good thing about it is almost every aspect of what you do is amazingly creative and well thought of. The bad thing is that the closed minded people of the world will miss out on what over-quality work you have done. Your mind is everything the film industry has hoped for but never saw until you just popped out the Sixth Sense and watched the whole world stand in dead silence as you gave them a new horizon you look out to with your unbelieveable stories. I am going to study film and comunications after I graduate highschool next year to become a director. I hope it's alright if you are my idol and I hope that it's alright if I base every film project that I do off of your style of work. I know the Newsweek magazine and critics have been saying that you are the next Speilberg, but the truth is, is that you can never be even close to Speilberg...because you are already way ahead of him. I cannot believe they compare you to him. You are the greatest person to ever hit the film industry, and not to be mean or anything, but I really think that you gave the right choice when you told your parents that you were going to NYU instead of into medical stuff. I look forward to meeting you one day on the set or making a film with you or something of that nature, it would be the greatest experience for me, but I know that there are tons of other children and adults that want to work with you, so you shoudl let them have a chance first if you ever do want someone to work with you or anything. Signs, I have to say is the most powerful movie I have ever seen. I have been analyzing movies ever since I was about 10 years old (just like you kind of, but I didn't get my camcorder until I was thirteen) and I have never once seen a movie likes yours. The Sixth Sense was very good, VERY great, but Signs has to top everything I've ever seen in my life. I have never yelled because of a movie, but a few parts in Signs really pulled me in and made me grab the seat handles and scream like a little girl (I say with a slight laugh). The ending was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I got the chills so bad that the result was me crying because of my eyes tearing so much. After the movie, I went home and was traumatized for about three weeks. I'm good now, but I cannot stop thinking about Signs; it's always on my mind. I guess I just want to tell you that you are the most respected person from me and I would appreciate if we could collaborate on some very interesting mysterious topics. I have one topic that is one of the most popular mysteries ever that has never had a suspense thriller on, which is amazing because you'd think that someone would make a very scary movie on this. Well, I know that you probably won't write back to me, so I understand. I'm not being negative, I'm only being realistic, most people do not hear back from their idols. Well, you take care and I really look forward to your next movie. One of these days coming up in the next few years, you'll see one of my feature films that will sit right next to yours, maybe not as high up, but they will be in the same range. You are my biggest inspiration and you should pride yourself on that, I really hope you know that you have made an impact on so many people's lives and that you have done so much good for many. You have opened-people's imaginations to new perspectives, as I said, and you are going to win Best Director this next spring. Well, good luck M. Night and take care. i'm just going to through this out and more than likely it will never be repeated again. well this movie is has something to do with the idea of "doublers" people that are born and what they do is double the speed of evolution two fold. it's about this antropoligist that notices "doublers" and tries to prove it happens but people think he's full of it but at the same time it show this kid that comes up with idea for time travel day. and he's tries to get everyone to get envolved in it. what time travel day is suppose to do is a day like 9/21/03 which he just came up with cause its a year away and its h g wells birthday. (the guy the wrote time machine) anyways he tries to make it so everyone knows about it so if anyone in the future invents time travel they bring it back on that day. well the whole time people think the whole idea is bullcrap at the end a time machine comes back and in turn doubles evolution two fold. thus making evolution double. but what the viewers will ask is what is going to make it happen the kid or the movie. and everyone will be skeptical of that day. anyways its just a thought and i don't think anyone could do it but m night shyamalan. it just seems like his type of movie.

Katherine was now at her partty and was having the time of her life.
10 hours later.
Katherine woke up and found herself naked in the Loch ness lake. She looked very pale as if she were a ghost. Then she felt a swoosh of water go against her back as if a shark were there ready to attack. She looked around and nobody was there to help. Then she saw something white infront of her in the water getting bigger and pops out a pale man. "Jerry, what has happend to you?!" Mary said crying. Jerry Coffed out blood and said "Get out of ..." Jerry made of more couph of blood and slowly sank down the bottom of the Lochness lake heading towards his death. Katherine was not crying and felt another swoosh of water go past her. Then she felt something big bumb her. Katherine started to get extremely scared. Then she heard somebody or thing run across the leaves of a tree. "HELP, PLEASE HELP ME!" No answer and she turned around and The Lochness monster pop out of the water and pushes her onto the water. Katherine couldent breath for which she was just hit in the stomach with an unexplainable thing. and I'll leave off here

Mary was writing her first novel and couldent go to sleep for which it was her dream to produce a good seeling book. Then all of a suudden she felt hungry and wanted to go to Wendys since they were open all night.
As she walked by the door exiting out her room she felt a cold shiver on her back. As she crossed the living room she saw her daughter Katherine watching her favorite horror movie Signs. Then Katherine also was hungry and decided to go with her beloved mother. They were driving and Katherine asks her mom "mom could i go to this beach party at the Loch Ness Lake?" "Sure,but hasn't there been sightings of Nessy?" Mary said just joking around. then all of a sudden the car stops.
Mary decided to go check the engine. And looked towards her window and saw a clown holding a knife with its left hand. mary started breathing hard. then the clownthrough his hand with the knife towards the car window Mary screamed and closed her eyes. then opened them again and the clown was gone. She took a sigh with relief. then her daughter grabbed her arm and asked whats wrong. "Nothing katherine." They walked out of the vehicle and checked the engine. They closed the engine and turned around and what Mary and Katherine saw changed there lives.
they saw a thing with red eyes and teeth of a sabre tooth tiger called mothman. Mary headed toward the car door. the keys were in the car They started running into to the woods for which it may not see them. Mary closed her eyes wic=shing to not see the horror before her.

Currently, I am enrolled at Cornell University in Ithaca New York. Before this, I recieved a scholarship to a prestigious prep school in western MA, and before that, I went to an overcrowded public middle school in Queens, NY. Ever since I began to be stimulated by learning, that is, after I left my joke of a middle school, I have wanted to make films. Not just Hollywood "try to get rich films," but more sophisticated "try to make a difference films." It probably sounds stupid, I know, but the reason I am writing this right now is because I just walked out of my film class about 10 minutes ago (which I am supposed to be majoring in) because as I was sitting in my seat, all I could think about was how I am not in any way learning HOW to make films, or even becoming more educated in any way. I found myself surrounded by people more interested in impressing professors than suprising themselves in regards to what they are actually capable of. The way I am thinking right now, I don't even really wish to continue my deducation here, but rather begin to start my possibly dead-end career of becoming a film director. However, I am thinking somewhat rationally and so I am now going to begin desperately trying to find mailing/e-mail addresses of directors whom I have come to respect and admire. I see that almost everyone on this page is trying to get Mr. Shyamalan's information, which of course leads me to think that 1)I never will actually get his info and/or get in touch with him, and 2)I never will actually meet any of the directors I am trying to contact. However I will keep on trying. If possible, I would like the mailing address, or if not possible for completely understandable privacy reasons, the e-mail address of Mr. Shyamalan, as well as those of Steven Spielberg, David Finch, Christopher Nolan, or any director willing to take on an apprentice, or even just e-mail an aspiring film-maker some advice. I realize I may have just wasted my time with this, but perhaps there is that slim chance that I may be getting somewhere.

As far as movies go, this is THE BEST I've seen.
As far as story tellers go, Shyamalan is in a league of his own.
The exceptional acting by Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment is only outdone by Night's superb writing.
This movie makes you believe in the unknown, challenges your mind, and makes you cry.
A very exhausting 2 hours.
