Kerry Douglas Dye, Founder
Growing up on the mean streets of Philly, you either learned to fight or you got beat up a lot. Mr. Dye never learned to fight, but he did learn to love the taste of concrete, which has served him well in the intervening years.
Studying at NYU film school in the early nineties, Mr. Dye took his inspiration from David Cronenberg, Luis Bunuel, and Tweety and Sylvester shorts from the 1940's. His short films such as "The Eager Virgin", "Vominatrix", and "The Interrogation" (starring LeisureSuit's own Jordan Hoffman), were well-received but quickly forgotten. Lacking the funds for a thesis film, Mr. Dye concentrated on writing screenplays, but when graduation came he found himself penniless and without prospects for a career in the industry.
Turning to his childhood love of computers, Mr. Dye soon found work in technology just as the World Wide Web was revolutionizing culture. Still, he continued to write, and eventually formed LeisureSuit Media with Jordan Hoffman.
Mr. Dye is proud to have written and directed Ultrachrist!, LSM's first digital video feature, which is available on DVD at your favorite retailer, Netflix, or here. Most recent Mr. Dye wrote and co-directed the award-winning Body/Antibody.
